Mayor Dismayed Over Rising Toll of Traffic Deaths

Mayor Michael Victorino expressed dismay after a second victim succumbed to injuries suffered in a three-car crash Sunday night in Kīhei.

The individual has since been identified as Viki Deardorff, 51, of Kīhei. This was the ninth traffic fatality on Maui County roads this year, and the sixth traffic fatality in the last 11 days.
