Maui fire crews are responding to a report of a brush fire in a gulch near the Aina Lani Drive and Akalani Loop.

Fire officials say a golf course attendant was using the cart to gather golf balls within the driving range, when he noticed smoke from under his seat, and upon investigation, reported fire coming from the engine compartment.
