Hawaiʻi’s Class of 2020 Graduated High School at All-Time Best of 86%, But Ensuing College Enrollment Fell 5%
Hawai‘i’s public high school Class of 2020 achieved the highest on-time graduation rate ever recorded in the state at 86%. But only 50% of the Class of 2020 enrolled immediately in college, down 5% from the Class of 2019 — the steepest decline in college enrollment over one year.
