Enrollment at Hawaiʻi Public and Charter Schools Down 1.7%
Enrollment at Hawaiʻi’s public and charter schools for the 2021 – 2022 school year decreased to 171,600 students, compared with an enrollment of 174,704 students at the start of last school year — a difference of 1.7%.
CDC: New Mask Advice for Vaccinated Teachers and Students
Vaccinated K-12 teachers, students and staff no longer need to wear masks under new guidance issued today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Executives with the Hawaiʻi Sate Teacher’s Association said given unanswered questions, “it’s in the best interest of everyone to wear masks when they are indoors until we reach herd immunity.”
