DOH Revises Hawaiʻi Exposure Quarantine Guidance Based on CDC Recommendations
The Hawai‘i Department of Health announced that effective today it is reducing the required quarantine period of those who have been exposed to COVID-19 from 14 days to 10 days to “improve compliance without significantly increasing the risk of transmission in the community.” The new quarantine guidance does not modify any travel quarantine provided for in the governor’s proclamations related to the COVID-19 emergency.
