#hawaii youth sustainability challenge

The deadline to apply for the Hawai‘i Youth Sustainability Challenge, an initiative to empower youth from across the state of Hawai‘i to create solutions to conservation and sustainability challenges in their schools and communities, is Oct. 8, 2021.

Kupu and Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation announced it has opened applications for the Hawai‘i Youth Sustainability Challenge, a program offering up to $1,000 for completion of projects, for the 2021-2022 school year.

The Hawaiʻi Youth Sustainability Challenge, a partnership between Kupu and the Kōkua Hawaiʻi Foundation that supports student-led environmental initiatives, is accepting applications until Oct. 19. 

A total of 25 schools across the state will receive funding to implement new and innovative environmental projects that raise sustainability awareness
