Applicants sought for Mauna Kea Management Stewardship and Oversight Authority

Applicants are now being sought to serve on the Mauna Kea Stewardship and Oversight Authority. The joint announcement was made on Thursday by Governor David Ige and leadership from both the Senate and House.

A conference committee voted to approve Conference Draft 1 for HB2024 which aims to reform the Mauna a Wākea stewardship authority to benefit of both culture and science.
