Surf to Rise to 9 Feet Along East Shores

Mariners are being advised to exercise caution due to high seas and windy conditions in island waters.

6-9 Foot Surf Forecast for East Side of Maui, Molokaʻi

Forecasters with the NWS say surf is expected to be in the 6 to 9 foot range along the east facing shores, and will produce rip currents, and localized beach erosion.

A High Surf ADVISORY has been issued by the National Weather Service in Honolulu for Maui’s east facing shores. The advisory will remain in effect until 6 p.m. on Friday, May 25.
