African Lion at Honolulu Zoo Dies After Contracting Virus that Causes COVID-19
Ekundu, a 13-year old male lion that was living at the Honolulu Zoo, died on Monday, with underlying health conditions after contracting SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19 in humans.
