‘Īao Valley State Monument to Close Again for Two Months

The Department of Land Natural Resources plans to close ʻĪao Valley State Monument again, this time for two months beginning on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017.

UPDATE: ʻĪao Valley State Park Re-Opened After High Stream Flow

The park was closed yesterday for public safety, due to heavy rain that caused the level of ʻĪao Stream to be very high.

State Closes Maui Parks and Trails Ahead of Flossie

Maui park and trail closures include: Kula Forest Reserve; Makawao Forest Reserve; ʻĪao Valley State Monument Park; Waiʻānapanapa State Park; Mākena State Park; and Polipoli State Park.
