UH Scientists Awaited as NASA’s Perseverance Rover Landed On Mars to Search for Signs of Ancient Life

After a six-month journey, Perseverance, the most sophisticated rover NASA has ever sent to Mars landed on the red planet on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021 at 10:55 a.m. HST. Along with people around the world, scientists and students at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa eagerly awaited the milestone.
