23 New COVID-19 Cases in Hawai‘i Brings State Total to 1,243
There are 23 new COVID-19 cases reported for Hawaiʻi today, including–19 new cases on the island of Oʻahu, one each on Maui and Hawaiʻi Island, and two new cases of Hawaiʻi residents who were diagnosed out-of-state. This brings the statewide count to 1,243 cases in Hawaiʻi over the course of the pandemic.
17 More COVID-19 Cases on O‘ahu: Hawai‘i Total Now 723
All but one, of the new cases, are adult residents on O‘ahu. Two of the additional cases are related to a household cluster, where 12 individuals have now tested positive. Some 300 residents in surrounding households have been tested as part of community outreach and screening and all have tested negative, apart from those in the single household.
