Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa has partnered with OHANA Pickleball Club to bring a new world-class pickleball club experience to the shores of Kā‘anapali Beach. Open to all, the Grand Opening of the club is set for March 14, 2026.

Hawai‘i’s largest Junior Lifeguard championship to date returns to Kā‘anapali Beach on Maui on Saturday Aug. 9.  More than 120 of Hawai‘i’s most promising young ocean leaders will gather from across the islands to compete, showcasing their lifesaving skills, ocean knowledge, athleticism and teamwork.

The 18th annual Waʻa Kiakahi will return to Maui’s Kā‘anapali Beach, May 17-19, welcoming 10 six-member crews from all islands to share with the public the history and proficiency of traditional Hawaiian sailing canoes.
