Noelani Goodyear-Kaʻōpua was selected as the interim director of the Hawai‘i Papa O Ke Ao Native Hawaiian Place of Learning Advancement Office for the UH System and UH Mānoa, pending UH Board of Regents approval.

Students, faculty, staff and community members gathered at University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa on ʻIanuali (January) 20–22 for the fourth annual Hawaiʻi Kuʻu Home Aloha Summit. The event was a gathering centered on culture, place and shared kuleana (responsibility) to Hawaiʻi and its future.

The team tasked with helping advance the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa as a Native Hawaiian Place of Learning has officially launched a two-year initiative immersing a diverse range of students and employees in Native Hawaiian values and traditions.

More than 200 participants gathered on campus to participate in free activities to promote learning, connection and deep reflection. The event was hosted by the UH Mānoa Native Hawaiian Place of Learning Advancement Office.
