The Maui Police Department on Wednesday identified two more victims of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire: Leslie Smith, 80, and Dale Richter, 66, both from Lahaina.

The Maui Police Department identified one more victim of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire on Thursday: Michael Mahnensmith, 80, of Lahaina. Mahnensmith’s name was moved from the latest “verified list” of unaccounted for individuals released last week Friday. Maui police update the list weekly.

Lahaina burn victim identified among the fatalities from the Aug. 8 wildfire

The Maui Police Department on Tuesday identified Laurie Allen, 65, of Lahaina as a victim of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire. She had sustained burn wounds during evacuation from her home, according to earlier reports.

The Maui Police Department identified six more victims of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire on Tuesday: Felimon Quijano, 61; Luz Bernabe, 64; Joel Villegas, 55; Adela Villegas, 53; Angelica Baclig, 31; and Junmark Quijano, 30. All are from Lahaina.

The Maui Police Department identified one more victim of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire on Monday: Matsuyuki Osato, 83, of Lahaina.

Six more Lahaina fire victims identified by police, including 11-year-old boy

The Maui Police Department identified six more victims of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire on Sunday: Michael Morinho, 61; Ediomede Pavian Castillo, 35; Alfred Rawlings, 84; Maria Victoria Recolizado, 51; Justin Recolizado, 11; and Terri Thomas, 62. All were from Lahaina.

The Maui Police Department identified one more victim of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire on Wednesday: Kirk Carter, 44, of Lahaina.

The Maui Police Department identified one more victim of the Aug. 8 Lahaina fire on Tuesday: James Smith, 79, of Lahaina.

Five additional Lahaina wildfire victims were identified; a total of 74 people have been named

This brings the total number of victims publicly identified to 74 of the estimated 97 fatalities, which is down from the death toll of 115 that had been reported for more than two weeks.
