10 inmates from Waiawa Correctional Facility earn community college culinary certificates

Ten inmates from the Waiawa Correctional Facility received Kapi‘olani Community College Culinary Arts certificates Thursday June 13, 2024. If any of the students opt to further their education, 14 credits earned from the program will appear in their University of Hawai‘i transcripts.

Culinary Arts Program graduation luncheon held at women’s prison

A culinary class made up of three female inmates at the Women’s Community Correctional Center graduated Wednesday from the Kapiʻolani Community College Culinary Arts Program.
