Kīlauea Volcano’s West Vent Erupting More Vigorously Overnight While North Vent Quieted
Early Saturday morning, the west vent of Kīlauea Volcano on the Big Island reactivated with lava flow while the north vent quieted and started to drain the Halemaʻumaʻu crater lake.
