State’s First Wetlands Restoration Project on Kauaʻi Helps Mitigate Climate Change Impacts

Hawaiʻi’s Department of Land and Natural Resources is expanding the Kawai‘ele Waterbird Sanctuary by 100 acres on Kauaʻi to provide additional habitat for native Hawaiian birds and help mitigate climate change impacts.
