Pukalani Superette Donates Thousands to Elementary Schools

Six upcountry elementary schools received a total of $9,000 in donations from Pukalani Superette. 

Maui Schools Earn Active Living Awards

The awards will fund the purchase of physical activity and sports equipment or support wellness initiatives on campus.

Two Maui Principals Among Leadership Award Nominees

Steve Franz, principal at King Kamehameha III Elementary School in Lahaina, and Chris Bachaus, a principal at Kula Elementary School each were awarded with a $1,000 personal cash award and commemorative plaque at a ceremony held over the weekend.

Students Excel at Kula Elementary Science Fair

Approximately 100 family members, friends, students and science fans attended the fair to scrutinize scientific methods and the results of experiments conducted by students in grades one through five.

Annual Kula School Harvest Festival Dec. 6

The 28th Annual Kula School Harvest Festival, a fundraiser for the school’s enrichment programs, is now scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
