Maui police have closed Lahainaluna Road and the Lahaina Bypass in West Maui following a motor vehicle accident reported at around 7:45 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12, 2015.

Deadly Crash Claims Life of Kīhei Woman on Lahaina Bypass

A 23-year-old Kīhei woman suffered fatal injuries in a motor vehicle accident on the Lahaina bypass early Saturday morning. Police say she was a passenger in the single-vehicle collision. The male driver was arrested.
