Applications for the 2023 Lānaʻi Axis Deer hunting season will be available for purchase soon. The DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife will begin accepting applications Monday, Aug. 15, 2022.  

Online applications for a combination 2022 Lānaʻi Axis Deer and Mouflon Sheep hunting season will be available beginning Jan. 10, 2022, according to the Hawaiʻi State Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife.

Online applications for a combination 2021 Lānaʻi Axis Deer and Mouflon Sheep Season will be available to the public beginning Monday, Feb. 22, 2021.

The DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife announced the cancellation of the 2021 Lāna‘i Axis Deer season due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Applications for the 2020 Lānaʻi Axis deer hunting season become available on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 1, 2018, deer hunting enthusiasts can apply to hunt for the 2019 Lana’i Axis Deer hunting season.

The 2015 Lānaʻi Axis deer season consists of three hunts–the first beginning on Feb. 21, and the final hunt concluding on May 17, 2015.

Application forms for the 2014 Lānaʻi axis deer hunting season, together with instruction sheets, are now available at all Division of Forestry and Wildlife offices across the state. The deadline for submitting applications is Dec. 6, 2013.
