Maui Group Organizes Lei of Aloha for Florida Families

A group from Maui is engaging schools across the state to weave a Lei of Aloha for families of the 17 students & teachers killed in Parkland, Florida last week.

Lei of Aloha for Las Vegas

Efforts are currently underway at Nalu’s South Shore Grill where volunteers can drop off and weave part of the lei between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.

A mile long Lei of Aloha from Maui was placed at three memorial sites in Orlando, as a demonstration of good will following last week’s night club shooting.

Lei of Aloha 9, the annual open house celebrating the holiday season and a benefit for Hōkūlani Holt’s hālau hula, Pā‘ū O Hi‘iaka, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015, from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono in Wailuku.
