Lahaina Strong, in partnership with Maui Behavioral Health Resources and hosted by Maui Land & Pine, welcomes the inaugural Lahaina Strong Mākeke, happening on Saturday, June 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. at 1000 Kapalua Drive in West Maui.

Maui Behavioral Health Resources, Maui’s largest nonprofit provider of substance use and mental health treatment services, announces several new staffing positions and organizational changes. Organization leaders say the changes were implemented to “meet the rising need of substance abuse treatment and mental health services due to the pandemic.”

Malama Na Makua A Keiki dba Malama Family Recovery Center was awarded a $75,000 one-year grant from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to support its family-centered substance abuse treatment and support program.
