Work underway on Safe Parking temporary site to address urgent concerns with Pūlehu encampment
The County of Maui is expediting preparations for a temporary safe parking site in Central Maui, expected to open by the end of October, to safely accommodate individuals living in their vehicles and urgently address health and safety concerns associated with an encampment along Pūlehu Road. Meanwhile, work continues on a permanent safe parking facility.
