Second Suspect Arrested in Kahului Police Chase

Maui police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a police pursuit that led to the lockdown of several schools in Central Maui on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. Joshua K. Detillion, 26, of Waiheu, was arrested at around 12:57 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015.

Maui police have arrested one man and another remains at large in connection with a police pursuit that led to the lockdown of several schools in Central Maui on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015.

Maui Waena Principal Issues Statement Following Lockdown

“Maui Waena was directed to go into a lockdown by the Maui Police Department today, starting at 12:15 p.m. and ending at 1 p.m. as a precautionary measure. At no time was Maui Waena under any threat. There was no intruder on campus,” Yap tells Maui Now.
