In Time for Mother’s Day, Less Restrictive COVID-19 Rules Take Effect for Maui
Maui County announced it is easing up on COVID-19 restrictions, just in time for Motherʻs Day. They include allow social gatherings up to 10 people and increasing restaurant capacity to 50 percent.

The state Department of Health reports that there were 91 additional COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Friday, including 73 on O‘ahu, 8 on Maui*, 6 on Hawai‘i Island, 2 on Kaua‘i and 2 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
