#maui covid-19 task force

Mayor Michael Victorino released a statement today in response to the Maui County Council’s recent resolution urging the mayor to establish a rapid-response COVID-19 task force.

The task force aims to make short-term recommendations to Mayor Victorino by the end of July with long-term strategies presented by the end of August. After holding their first meeting the task force came up with three areas of focus: (1) family and well being; (2) advocacy and access; and (3) resources.
