Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives (HMH) and co-sponsor Makawao Cemetery Association present the return of Cemetery History Theatre — for one weekend in July 2026: Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19. This year marks the program’s 15th anniversary.

The Rotary Club of Wailuku will hold a virtual Remembrance Feb. 25 to celebrate the life of founding member and Charter President Tom Leuteneker, who died at age 80 surrounded by his loving family on Dec. 15, 2020.

Family and friends are mourning the loss of longtime community philanthropist and businessman Dorvin Duane Leis who died Monday, June 15, at the age of 86, following a five year battle with cancer. Leis was described as “the epitome of philanthropy for the Maui community.”
