Organization representatives say their goal is to sterilize 125 cats per day, for a total of 600 sterilizations at the five clinics. The Maui Humane Society plans to hold these M*A*S*H style clinics for cats several times per year, for the next five years, as part of a concentrated effort to reduce pet overpopulation.

The campaign includes a public awareness sign waving rally at Hana Highway and Haleakala Highways this morning; and across from the Maui Beach Hotel this afternoon.
