There is no tsunami threat to Hawaiʻi following a 6.4M (preliminary magnitude 6.6) earthquake reported at 9:50 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 near the coast of Chiapas, Mexico, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center.
