Update: Mariner and vessel, Malulani arrive safely in Hawaiʻi after being reported missing

Coast Guard officials have confirmed that a missing mariner and his 32-foot boat, the Malulani, arrived safely in Hawaiʻi on Saturday.

UPDATE: Crew Aboard Overdue Sailboat Located, to Reach Maui Tonight

The crew reports that they were delayed due to a damaged sail, and heavier seas than anticipated. The crew advised the Coast Guard that they are not in distress, and should reach Maui by evening.
