#Native Hawaiian Roll Commission

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs announced today that its radio talk show will return weekly to the airwaves, starting Sunday, Nov. 6., featuring former governor John Waihe’e III discussing the Native Hawaiian Roll Commission.

The Commission was established to start the process aimed at establishing federal recognition for Native Hawaiians. Perez Wendt is the Maui representative, who resides in Wailuanui.

Applicants for one of the five seats open on the Native Hawaiian Roll Commission must submit applications to the Governor’s Office by Friday, August 5.
