Three Hawaiian language immersion students from Ke Kula Kaiapuni ʻo Kekaulike on Maui are calling on the community to help raise $12,000 to represent Hawai‘i at the 2025 National ʻŌlelo Hawai‘i Showcase in Washington, D.C., this June.

Hawai‘i’s public high school Class of 2020 achieved the highest on-time graduation rate ever recorded in the state at 86%. But only 50% of the Class of 2020 enrolled immediately in college, down 5% from the Class of 2019 — the steepest decline in college enrollment over one year.
