Animated shorts preserving Lahaina’s Soul to Screen in Kīhei

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) yesterday announced the release of grant solicitations totaling $6.87 million intended for non-profits that serve the Native Hawaiian community. Training for the application process takes place in person in Wailuku tonight starting at 5:30 p.m.
Waiola Church Hosts Celebration of Mo‘i Wahine Keōpūolani
Waiola Church in West Maui hosts the Celebration of Mo‘i Wahine Keōpūolani, The Sacred Queen of Hawai‘i on Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020. The 197 year old historic church in Lahaina will be honoring Keōpūolani, whose final resting place is The Royal Tomb located in Waiola’s Waine‘e graveyard.
