Proposed alternatives include: creating space for Less-than-Container-Loads cargo and Department of Agriculture inspections; adaptive re-use of the Old Railroad Building for the DOT Harbors Division Office and harbor user office space; and demolishing the Old Kahului Store and acquisition of additional land area for increased cargo yard efficiency.
