First ever Hawaiian hawk week begins Sunday

Prompted by repeated injuries suffered by a single ʻIo or Hawaiian hawk, a collaboration of conservation agencies and nonprofit organizations are holding the first-ever “Hawk Week,” Oct. 9-15, 2022.
