The Hawai‘i Department of Health Maui Food Safety Branch issued a red “closed” placard and immediately closed Paradise Supermart Fast Food & Catering during a routine inspection conducted Feb. 5, 2025, citing multiple critical food safety violations.

A red “Closed” placard was issued to Paradise Supermart Fast Food & Catering in Kahului. This is the third food establishment on Maui to receive a red placard for violations in recent days. Last week, violations forced the closure of the Barefruit Bar and ʻOhana Tacos.
