A bipartisan group of US Senators announced their support for the Protecting Kids on Social Media Act, a bill that aims to establish a minimum age of 13 for social media app usage, require parental consent for 13 to 17-year-olds, and prevent social media companies from using personalized algorithms for users under 18.
