Polynesian Cultural Center to host a free community show in Lahaina, Maui on June 4
To celebrate the Maui community and the arrival of Iosepa, a traditional Hawaiian voyaging canoe, the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) will host a free community show in Lahaina, Maui. The hour-long event on Tuesday, June 4, 2025 will feature vibrant Polynesian music and dance and is open to the public. Activities begin at 7 p.m. at the Lahaina Civic Center. Admission is free.
VIDEO: Hyundai Opening Ceremonies Feature “Ha” Breath of Life
Dancers from the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu, performed vignettes from their show “Ha”, translated as the breath of life, to open the 2012 Hyundai Tournament of Champions on Maui. The performance cleared the way for champion golfers to make a statement at Kapalua under clear skies and a view of breaking waves on the shores of Honolua and Mokuleia Bays below.
