Christmas bird count focuses on endangered Hawaiʻi forest birds
To wrap up The Year of the Forest Birds (ka Makahiki o Nā Manu Nahele) in Hawai‘i, more than a dozen volunteers joined staff from the DLNR Division of Forestry and Wildlife to count birds ahead of the Christmas holiday.
