Additional Funding Proposed for Haleakalā and Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Parks
The administration’s request includes $6,125,000 to protect 3,019 acres at Haleakalā National Park on Maui and $150,000 to protect an additional three acres at the Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park on the west side of Hawaiʻi Island.

Haleakalā Entrance Fees to Increase on June 1
Haleakalā National Park daily entrance fees will be raised to meet national standards with the per-person fee to change from $8 to $10 on June 1, 2016.
