Travelers reminded to be REAL ID ready by May 7, 2025

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation reminds domestic travelers that on May 7, 2025, you must have a REAL ID or acceptable alternative to avoid delays at the security checkpoints at the airport.

Hawaiʻi-issued REAL IDs can be added to Apple Wallet starting today

As of Aug. 28, 2024, REAL ID-compliant Hawaiʻi driver’s licenses and state identification cards can be added to iPhone and Apple Watch, the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation announced.
