State canoe regatta returning to Hanakaʻōʻō Beach Park, providing a morale boost to still struggling Lahaina
On Aug. 2, and for the first time in eight years, Maui will host the state championship regatta at Hanakaʻōʻō Beach Park, with organizers hoping it will provide a morale boost to West Maui that is still struggling from the 2023 Lahaina wildfire.
