Motorists on Maui are advised of potential traffic delays due to roving lane closures on Puʻunēnē Avenue (Route 3500) on Friday, Jan. 10, for drilling of soil samples for the Puʻunēnē Avenue improvements project.
Finding of No Significant Impact for Puʻunēnē Ave. road widening and improvement project
Project work would consist of constructing new sidewalks on both sides of Puʹunēnē Avenue, linking Wākea Avenue to Kūihelani Highway. Preliminary estimates indicate that the road construction would cost approximately $15 million.
