Bank of Hawaiʻi pays full tuition for four Chaminade University graduates
Since Bank of Hawai‘i’s College Assistance Program began in 2016, 25 employees have now earned degrees from Chaminade University or an associate degree from the University of Hawai‘i Community Colleges with more than $2.1 million in educational costs covered. This year, all four employees—Rita Aponte, Ryan Chang, Cindy Corpuz and KerryLynn Vea—received their bachelor’s degrees in business administration.
Maui culinary student to graduate after playing key role in helping to prep thousands of meals in the wildfire aftermath
Student teaching assistant Ryan Chang will earn two associate of applied arts degrees in May (one specializing in culinary arts and the other specializing in baking and pastry). He played a key role in the college’s emergency production of thousands of meals in the aftermath of the August wildfires.
