Former accounting administrator for the County of Maui, Maria Zielinski, has been selected to serve as the director of Taxation and head of the Department of Taxation under the Ige administration. She previously served as Hawaiʻi deputy Comptroller.

Scott Edward Enright, who served as a consultant for the Hawaii Sustainable Agriculture and Renewable Energy Project, will fill the deputy post at the Department of Agriculture. Leila Kagawa, a senior solutions consultant, will take on the deputy post at the Human Resources and Development Department.
