HECO pledges repayment of battery systems incentives owed by insolvent third-party provider

Hawaiian Electric is assuring customers with battery storage systems that it will pay any upfront incentives consumers are owed by Swell Energy Inc., a now-insolvent third-party provider that operated the Home Rewards Battery Program.

Virtual Hawaiʻi Energy Conference Begins June 22, Not Too Late To Register

It is not too late to register for the 8th Hawaiʻi Energy Conference, which will be held virtually this year from June 22-24. The conference will focus on investments in people and projects as energy transitions in Hawaiʻi. The virtual venue opens today for networking.

Speakers Announced for Hawai‘i Energy Conference on June 22 and June 24

With the days counting down to the 8th Hawaiʻi Energy Conference, the keynote and invited speakers have been announced. Suleman Khan of Swell Energy will give the keynote on Day 1 – June 22; and Mark Toney is the invite speaker on Day 2 – June 24.
