For the second quarter in a row, more synthetic urine is being submitted by people trying to cheat the workplace drug testing system.

Tests show that crystal meth is trending down and the use of synthetic urine to mask drug use in tests is trending up.

The increase in cocaine abuse is significant even though the usage is low in comparison to most of the other drugs. Methamphetamine, or ice use, declined by 22% year over year, but is still at about 0.7%, which is about four times the average ice use found in workforce drug testing on the mainland.
