UH studying fungal-bacterial interactions on climate change with $3.4 million grant

A team of soil scientist is hoping to find out if fungal-bacterial interactions can change whether carbon and nitrogen molecules are kept sequestered underground or if they are released into the atmosphere, contributing to climate change.
