Gov. Green signs executive order declaring Hawaiʻi a trauma-informed state

“This executive order and survey are just our first actions to become a trauma-informed state,” said Gov. Green. “With the results, we will develop better services and programs that support the wellness and resilience of our people, including addressing community traumas we’ve lived through in the past several years, like the pandemic and Maui fires.”

Office of Wellness and Resilience honored for mental health response to the Maui wildfires

Tia L. R. Hartsock, director of the Office of Wellness and Resilience was selected by the awards committee of the Hawai‘i Psychological Association to commemorate her work on the coordinated mental health response to the Maui wildfires.
